LIST OF EMEA TEAMS TO PUBG GLOBAL SERIES 2 FINALIZED

The EMEA Qualifiers for the PUBG Global Series 2 (PGS 2) has concluded and five EMEA teams that will be competing at a global stage in Riyadh, later this August, have been finalized. Joining the three EMEA Global Partner teams - Twisted Minds, FaZe Clan, and NAVI - who get a direct invite to PGS 2, are Question Mark and Sarvem Esports.

Twisted Minds dominated all through the Grand Finals, never quite losing the first spot. Question Mark picked up pace considerably during the Day 2 and lost out to Twisted Minds only by a single point. Sarvem had an even larger gap to cover after Day 1, but finished in a moderately comfortable third place - 10 points above FaZe Clan and NAVI, and 14 points above FUT Esports, their nearest rival for the spot at PGS 2.

A total of 4060 PGC Points were awarded to the teams in the final stage of the EMEA Qualifiers based on the results, which are vital for bringing the teams one step closer to the PUBG Global Championship later this year. In addition to the winner of PUBG EMEA Championship (PEC): Fall later this year, the 5 teams with the most PGC Points will qualify for PGC from the EMEA region. PEC: Fall will be the final event in the 2023 EMEA Esports calendar to award PGC Points, granting teams one final opportunity to push for qualification.

PGS 2 will take place from 10 - 20 August at the Baker Alshidi Theater in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament will consist of a Group Stage followed by Bracket Stages and the Grand Finals. The overall ranking leader at the end of the Grand Finals will be crowned the PGS 2 Champion and take home the biggest share of the $2,000,000 prize pool as well as the highest number of PGS points. The PGS point system is an independent point system which will also determine which teams earn places in PGC. PGS points are not added to the PGC points acquired in Regional Tournaments. For more information on PGS Points and the tournament format, take a look at our PGS 2 Tournament Details blog.

In partnership with Gamers8, the event will be open to the public throughout the tournament. PUBG Esports fans can purchase the tickets here.
