THE TEAMS ARE SET FOR THE PUBG PCS4 NA GROUP STAGES

SANTA MONICA, CALIF. - MAY 13, 2021 - Following an exciting week of high-level PUBG qualifier competition, the lineup of teams for the PCS4 NA Group Stages has been officially set. See below for a brief recap of how we got here. 

 

PCS4 NORTH AMERICA OPEN QUALIFIERS RESULTS 

Eight of North America’s best teams - including Eternity, The Rumblers, and Houston Hardshifts - have advanced through open qualifiers and secured a spot in the PCS4 NA Group Stage. While Round 3 of the PCS4 NA Open Qualifiers featured many teams that have had proven success in the PUBG Continental Series, there were a number of teams that had strong, competitive debuts, making the open qualifiers extremely interesting to watch.
 

LOOKING FORWARD TO PCS4 NA GROUP STAGES 

  • Schedule & Structure

    • The stage is set for the PCS4 NA & LATAM Group Stage events, each of which will take place May 14-20.

    • Each sub-regional Group Stage will see the top 8 teams from the Open Qualifiers joined by the top 16 teams from each sub-region’s ESL PUBG Masters: Phase 1 Group Stage as they compete for their share of $25,000 USD. 

    • The top six teams from each sub-regional Group Stage will advance to the PCS4 Americas Grand Finals. 

    • The teams ranked 7-14 from each sub-regional Group Stage will advance to the PCS4 Americas Last Chance Qualifier, which is scheduled for May 22-23. 

  • Key Storylines To Watch For

    • Beginning with the region’s success internationally earlier this season, the Americas have continually proven to be one of the most competitive throughout PUBG Esports. The PCS4 NA Group Stage will feature the ESL PUBG Masters Champions, Shoot To Kill and PGI.S World Champions, Soniqs to name a few top teams.

    • A number of veteran players have earned their spot in the PCS4 Group Stage, many of which are competing with The Rumblers and Houston Hardshifts. These two teams in particular are familiar to followers of PUBG Esports and have bolstered their rosters prior to the start of PCS4 Americas.
