The EMEA Qualifiers for the PUBG Global Series 2 (PGS 2) are kicking off on 29 June. The tournament will run until 9 July and consist of seven days of fierce battles for the chance to advance to PGS 2 and compete for a share of the $2,000,000 prize pool and PGC Points.
The Qualifiers will begin with four days of Upper and Lower Bracket Matches starting from 29 June. The 24 teams taking part in the PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers (listed below) are sorted into Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket based on their qualification method. The top eight teams from the Upper Bracket will qualify directly to the Finals Stage, with the lower eight teams moving down for a second chance to qualify via the Lower Bracket. The Lower Bracket will also qualify eight teams to the Finals Stage.
The PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers Final Stage will be held for three days from 7-9 July. The top two teams in the Finals Stage will secure a spot at PGS 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this August.

As with PUBG Global Series 1 (PGS 1), the EMEA region will be sending five teams to PGS 2. Two of these teams will qualify based on their performance in the EMEA Qualifiers, with our three Global Partner Teams, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere and Twisted Minds, filling out the rest of the representation for EMEA.
In line with our efforts to close the gap between PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Ranked Mode and Esports Ruleset, Taego will also be included in the map pool of the EMEA Qualifiers.
