THUNDER TIER ONE UPDATE AND 40% DISCOUNT NOW AVAILABLE

The update includes brand new weapons, items and modding capabilities for fans to enjoy

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – 16 August, 2022 – KRAFTON, Inc. has released the latest update for Thunder Tier One – a top down tactical shooter available on Steam. In this game, fans can play as a tier one military operator leading an elite squadron in the fictional nation of Salobia. To mark the occasion, the title – which was launched in December 2021 – is on sale at a 40% discounted rate of €11.99 /  £10.19 until Tuesday 23 August at 12:00 PM CEST / 11:00 AM BST.

Players enjoy single, co-op and PVP game modes - Exfil, Deathmatch, Domination and Advance & Secure - in addition to a 9-mission story driven campaign. Thunder Tier One is also accessible to modding, as the game was designed by a small team of passionate modders whose goal was to introduce others to the development side of gaming. Fans are able to create their own missions, weapons, characters, maps, game modes and more. As part of this update, the development team have also added a variety of weapons, attachments, gear and other in-game items – as well as the ability to modify the camera manager. Full details can be found in the patch notes here.

Thunder Tier One was always intended to be an independent, standalone title. With this now being the concluding update, the team would like to thank the community and fans for their enthusiasm and joining the journey with them.

About Thunder Tier One Team

The Thunder Tier One concept was first conceived of in 2016, by PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Head of Action and Gameplay Unit Pawel Smolewski, who began working on the game as a personal project with a small independent team. In early 2020, Smolewski pitched the game to KRAFTON, Inc. who recognised its potential and decided to collaborate with the team to help introduce Thunder Tier One to a wider audience. The original team is now working under the KRAFTON, Inc. umbrella.
